BACKGROUND:
The Employer intends to proceed with the development described in the Contract Data (“the Development”) at the site stated in the Contract Data (“the Site”).
The Employer wishes to appoint the Consultant to provide the services of a [type of professional] set out in the Contract Data with such variations to them as may be made under this Agreement (“the services”) in relation to the Development and on the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
IT IS NOW AGREED THAT:
In this Agreement, words and expressions have the same meanings as are respectively assigned to them in the conditions of contract.
The Consultant agrees to Provide the Services in accordance with:
The conditions of contract incorporating the Contract Data;
Any documents referred to in the Contract Data.
The Employer pays the Consultant the amount due in accordance with the conditions of contract.
