INTRODUCTION

Profile of the institution and why it is interested in Performance Contracting.

Name wishes to invite interested Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) or Performance Contractors (hereafter referred to as Performance Contractors) to submit proposals offering their abilities and qualifications in the areas of, but not limited to, implementing energy conservation and facility improvement measures, improving occupant comfort, installing renewable energy solutions, enhancing on-site equipment and systems maintenance, and procuring financial services. It is the intent of Name to enter into a contract for a single or multi-phase project with a performance contractor to meet the Project Goals stated hereafter.

PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AMERICAN COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY PRESIDENTS CLIMATE COMMITMENT AND THE CLINTON CLIMATE INITIATIVE:

___Name is a signatory of the American College and University President’s Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), which is a partner of the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI). ESCOs who wish to participate in projects on Name’s campus must agree and adhere to the terms of CCI’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with its ESCO partners (see Appendix C for summary).

Firms are not required to have signed the CCI MOU before responding to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), but they are required to agree and adhere to the MOUs terms and conditions. Name will consider all firms equally and base its decision solely on the quality of a firm’s submission of qualifications
